Marie’s international experience spans both the technical and business dimensions of global air transport, including senior roles at IATA and SITA covering passenger standards, business architecture, digital identity, messaging, and industry governance.
Much of her work involved bringing together industry leaders to shape key industry concepts behind Modern Airline Retailing or Digital Identity in the area of Passenger Services, and supporting hands-on industry practitioners in translating those concepts into detailed industry standards.
A distinctive aspect of her experience is a deep understanding of how standards and governance operate in practice, and how specific concepts in standards link to each other across a variety of business areas.
As Secretary of the IATA Passenger Standards Conference, she provided supported to more than 50 working groups involving over one 1’000 industry participants coming from across the world . This resulted in a unique perspective that combines technical expertise, operational realities, institutional memory, and a practical understanding of how industry transformation actually happens.
